And, uh, you know, the thing that, uhm, I, I, I’m just really, really grateful for is the support and the, and the knowledge that you guys have given me and, um, the, the, the, the Laker organization, uh, that you’ve given us, um, that’s propelled us to be here today.

And, um, I, I, I hope that, uh, we’ve played a, a, a part in, uh, making you guys proud and, and, and appreciating the entertainment that you’ve given us all over the years, and, and, and, and the support that you’ve given us.

And, you know, it’s, it’s, I can’t believe how fast 20 years went by, man. This is crazy. This is absolutely crazy. And, you know, to be standing here, uh, at center court with you guys, my teammates behind me, and appreciating all this, you know, the journey we’ve been on. We’ve been through our ups and we’ve been through our downs, and I think the most important part is that we all stayed together throughout. [Crowd cheers]

You know, I grew up a die-hard, uh, Laker fan. Die-hard Laker fan. So it’s, it’s surreal, it’s surreal. Just, uh, I think the most important part, uh, is that we all, uh, we all stayed together throughout these years. You know, I grew up and, and I bleed purple and gold and, and that’s what you guys live for.

You know, we’re, we’re going to be linked for, for-uh, you know, eternity. And, um, I thank you guys for, uh, for that. I thank you guys for all the, uh, the motivation [Crowd cheers], the inspiration, and, you know, uh, L.A. We’re, uh, we’re the best fans in the world. [Crowd cheers]”
